"Sri Lanka National Atmospheric Protection Ordinance"

 
(A) to act in a manner that minimizes human activity that could result in pollution of the atmosphere;
 
(1) that there shall be no combustion which may contaminate the atmosphere of any business place, factory, workplace or house;
 
(2) that any combustion for cultivation must be done after obtaining a Grama Niladhari permit for the relevant combustion;
 
(03), the exhaust gases issued by certain factories must be discharged into the atmosphere after they have been cleaned by an air purification system;
 
(04) shall not act in any house, other than for cooking, and in such a manner as to release the exhaust gas into the atmosphere;
 
(5) No burning of tires, polythene, plastics and other debris.
 
(B) Smoke testing for all public and private motor vehicles must occur every six months;
 
(01) Any vessel, motor vehicle or black smoke should not be operating;
 
(2) Minimizing the use of Fuel Vehicles.
 
(C) a person or a party who violates all the provisions of paragraph (a), (01), (02), (03), (05) of this Ordinance and has filed a case against them, for a year of heavy work. This amounts to power for five to twelve years in prison;
 
(1) Any person or party who violates all the provisions of paragraph (a) and (4) of this Ordinance shall be severely empowered to impose a sentence of two years to five years on behalf of such persons. ;
 
(2) Any person or party who violates all the provisions of paragraph (b) and (1) of this Ordinance shall be empowered to impose a sentence of one to four years in prison for such persons. .
 
(D), all provisions of this Act shall not be subject to the provisions of any other Act.
